Mexico – a town in Pampanga
Mexico is located next to the City of San Fernando. Its name after “Masiku” meaning elbowed because of its location, in the elbow of the Abacan River. Other old says, the name came from the sweet fruit tree “Chico” or Sapodilla which grew abundantly all over the town. The most known event in town is the “San Nicolas de Tolentino” and it is the hometown of the well-known kapampangan culinary expert who is making the famous San Nicolas Cookies.
