Mountains:
Mt. Arayat
This passive Vulcan is a natural, standing out monument in central Luzon. It is the most
formative, visible landmark all over Pampanga.
The date of its last eruption is unknown. Around the mountain, you will find the Villages
Magalang and Arayat in Pampanga as well Cabiao in the neighbour Province Nueva
Ecija.

Based on folklore:
Mt. Arayat has two (2) tallest peaks. During the early
times, Mariang Sinukuan (Queen of Mt. Arayat) moves to
the place and merge several mountains into Mt. Arayat.
The also called “Mystical Mountain” has myths about the
figure “Mariang Sinukuan” (which still leaves in the
mountain along the way to its peak) as well the “white
rock” with a door to “Aring Sinukuan’s” home within
mountain Arayat. Based on the legend – In Mariang Sinukuan’s home, everything is
made of gold incl. food, fruits, furniture and whoever tried to visit the place, has
perished.
Mt. Pinatubo
Is a part of the Cabusilan Mountain Range. The Crater Lake is
placed in Zambales. The Mounten itself is spredet over 3 provinces;
Zambales, Tarlac and Pampanga.
Mt. Pinatubo effects Pampangas economy massive, especially ture
the pull-out of the US Military Base "Clark Air Base" true the
1991 eruption. Porac and Mabalacat are most affected in

resources. So the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo is the way of Apo Namalyari’s punishment
to the careless people on environment.
