National authorities in Pampanga

Some tasks will be clarified by state authorities. So there are a few Satellite and regional offices in Pampanga, which are direct under national authorities. Of course, the national authorities are also represented in all other provinces and their headquarters are not in Pampanga. So this listing just helps to understand the structural construction of Pampanga as a province of the Philippines. Samples of National authorities (Non-committal; for a first overview at June 2014): Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) – this government departement provides what we call “Red Ribbon” (authentication of legal documents) such as Passport, Birth Certificates issued by National Statistics Office (NSO), Marriage Contract, Certificate of No Marriage (Cenomar) NBI Clearance, Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) Certificate, Medical Clearance and others. In Pampanga 2014, there are DFA Regional and Satellite Offices in Angeles and City of San Fernado. Under their jurisdiction are the policemen deployed in Municipal and City Police stations and sub-stations. In 2014, a new program for the extension of the visa was introduced. The so-called "Long Stay Visa Extention" (LSVVE). External Link: Bureau of Immigration Land Transportation Office (LTO) has a regional office in the compound of the Pampanga Capitol. Only the regional office handles the application for new professional or non-professional driver’s license. It has various satellite offices in different malls, city and municipality for the conveniences of the people. External Link: Land Transportation Office (LTO) Department of Health (DOH) – a national authority with the task to ensure quality of health services all over the country. It provides assistance to government as well as private hospitals and clinics. DOH holds the authority in distributing medicinal drugs to its health centres all over the Philippines. The Department of Health Regional Offices in Region 3 is located in City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The city and the municipality have their own health offices supervise by DOH. External Link: Department of Health (DOH) Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – it is the construction arm of the Philippine Government responsible for constructing and maintaining infrastructure of the national government development projects such as national highways, public schools, bridges, roads, water sheds flood control system and others. DPWH offices in Region 3 are located in City of San Fernando and a sub-district Engineering office in Angeles City, Pampanga.
