Pampanga`s Structure / Administrative Division:
General Info
Pampanga has nineteen (19) municipalities and three (3) cities. It is headed by the Governor for the province, mayor for the cities and municipalities and the barangay captains for the barangays. The seat of government is vested upon the governor and other elected officers such as Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial assembly) for the provinces, Sangguniang Panglungsod (city assembly) for the cities, Sangguniang Bayan (town assembly) for the municipalities, Sangguniang Barangay (barangay council) and the Sangguniang Kabataan (youth assembly) for the youth sector. Different departments will assist the needs of their inhabitants and tasks like passports and driver’s license will be clarified by national state authorities in Pampanga.
